A CHILD'S EYE VIEW: AMAZONIAN LANDSCAPES

The rainforest hides me. Towering trees touch the sky, its leaves like green blankets stretching as far as I can see. The air is warm with smells of flowers and wet earth. A burst of colors bursts from the scales of a bird. I run through the forest, my feet sticky on the soft ground. I listen for the rustling of animals hiding amongst the leaves.
